California – The legend of a 17th-century Spanish ship full of black pearls stranded in the desert resurfaces.

Colorado – The town of Louisville elects a short-haired tabby cat named Hazel as its second feline mayor.

Florida Man also makes an appearance – this time waterskiing up the Sewanee River, dodging gators and personal demons alike.

Drew and Mark Show Archives

This episode debuts a new musical feature: The Drew and Mark Show Archives, featuring a live-in-studio track from Seattle rock trio Dusty, titled Kill A Hotel, recorded live at VoV’s Jean Bosch Broadcast Studios sometime between 2016-2018.

Musically, the setlist is packed with indie and classic rock staples from the likes of Weezer, Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay, Green Day, Fleetwood Mac, and ZZ Top. Mid-show, Drew pays homage to Mars Attacks with a creatively sequenced musical break.
